It's been awhile since I've posted on my blog. So here it goes.
The Namekagon River trout fishing was great this year. With the warm weather we had in March and April, it made for some fantastic days to be on the water. The early stone fly hatch came and went in a heartbeat, but I was able to squeeze some good nymph and dry fly action during the hatch. Some really good sized browns were caught this season. The Hendrickson made a very early appearance this year, in fact I would say at least 2-3 weeks early. It was a surprise and treat at the same time!
