Guide Service Rates

A full day is 8+ hours, but to us it means sunrise to sunset!  We can tailor your start and end times based on your needs and schedule.  Tight lines!

Trip rates:

  • Warm Water Trips
    Full Day
    • $275  -  1 angler
    • $350  -  2 anglers

  • Float and Wade Trout Trips - Brule River and Namekagon River
    Full Day
    • $275  -  1 angler
    • $350  -  2 anglers

  • Special Evening Warmwater Trips - $150 for 1 to 2 anglers
    5pm until sunset.
All trips include:
  • Digital photos of your trip that can be emailed.
  • Fly fishing rods, reels, flies, leaders or bring your own.
  • We do not supply waders or boots.
  • Pick up and drop off.
  • Snacks, beverages and lunch.


Warmwater fly fishing trips

Fly fishing from either a powered boat or driftboat for smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, northern pike and musky. You can make the All Day trips be several different bodies of water in a day, for example Smallmouth bass on the St. Louis River in the morning, then to a local Largemouth bass lake in the afternoon.

Coldwater trout fly fishing trips (Brule River, Namekagon River)

Fly fishing the upper sections of the Brule River (city of Brule to Stones Landing) or the Namekagon River by wading or floating for resident brook trout, rainbow trout and brown trout.  There are also hold overs of Lake Superior lake run steelhead in the Brule River.  Big browns lurk in the Namekagon River.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING:
  • Raingear
  • Snacks and drinks
  • Either a Minnesota or Wisconsin fishing license (for fishing on the St. Louis River, a trout stamp is NOT required and an license from either state will work).  You will need a Inland Trout Stamp if fishing the Brule River along with a Wisconsin General fishing license.
    Minnesota Non-Resident 24 hour fishing license
    - $8.50
    Wisconsin Non-Resident 4-day fishing license with inland trout stamp - $34.00

    Wisconsin Non-Resident 2-day Lake Superior License (includes stamps) - $14.00
  • Weather appropriate clothing. The weather near Lake Superior is variable and unpredictable.
  • Sunscreen
  • Sunglasses (Polarized are best) and a baseball cap are recommended

 

Booking a fly fishing trip:
A 50% deposit is required when a trip is booked (fully refundable if cancelled at least 72 hours or 3 days prior to your trip date, otherwise a $50 cancellation fee is assessed). The balance is due on your trip date. We will notify you if weather or water conditions require cancellation or rescheduling of your trip. In such case a full refund will be made if other arrangements cannot be made to your satisfaction. Max 2 persons per guide.  A 15% percent discount is given if two or more days are booked consecutively.
